Installation on CentOS6.6

Hello, I have downloaded the

Intel® Parallel Studio XE Cluster Edition for Linux* version on my CentOS6.6 linux computer. But, during the installation, it says the OS is not supported, which i hope isn't a problem.. as it says in the installation folder that it supports CentOS 5,6, but could anyone clear this up for me.. ?

Thanks so much for your help..

Sincerely,

That might mean that centos6.6 wasn't available at the time testing of your version began
It seems unlikely this would pose a problem.

CentOS historically was not

CentOS historically was not tested formally nor designated as supported, although the basic compiler functions and run-time libraries would work the same as for corresponding Red Hat versions, if you accept the "unsupported" installation.

I thought Intel might have recognized the importance of CentOS in the customer base, with many installations using Intel tools successfully.
