topic Inaccurate Pardiso solutions after rebuild in Intel® oneAPI Math Kernel Library

I rebuilt an old project with MKL 2024.2 and latest Visual Studio build tools and Windows SDK. Now some of the solutions from Pardiso have strange large errors in them. I think I was previously using MKL 10.2 or 11.1 and it worked properly. Has something changed since then that I need to alter my program for? Or is there any incompatibility with recent Visual C++?

Is it possible to still download MKL 10.2 or 11.1 to check?

Thanks

You need to give reproducer (PARDISO settings and input data) if possible as your question is too vague to get a diagnosis.

Do you have any updates regarding a reproducer? MKL 10.2 was released in 2009 and is no longer available. Obviously, a lot has changed since then.

I haven't revisited this yet because I found a workaround to avoid recompiling it. But when I do, I'll first try using the same old version which I luckily kept a copy of.

It's possible I've got some memory allocation bug which was just hidden by chance and got exposed with the newer version.

In your last comment, you mentioned "found a workaround to avoid recompiling it" and "It's possible I've got some memory allocation bug which was just hidden by chance." This does sound like something we can reproduce on our side. Intel will no longer monitor this issue. Thank you for posting at the oneMKL Community Forum.
