How to get Intel® oneAPI Math Kernel Library v2024.2.2 as a part of the base toolkit.

Our product is affected by an issue in MKL's Pardiso solver included in Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit v2024.2.1 (see https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-oneAPI-Math-Kernel-Library/pardiso-Numerical-factorization-phase-does-not-preserve-XMM/m-p/1630255).

There seems to be a new bugfix release of MKL, v2024.2.2. However, I cannot find an updated Base Toolkit v2024.* version that includes MKL, v2024.2.2. We cannot yet update to v2025 due to removal of IFORT compiler, so I need to download the latest v2024 oneAPI Base and HPC toolkits and test if the issue with Pardiso solver is resolved or not.

Latest published release notes for oneAPI Base Toolkit v2024 is for v2024.2.0: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/release-notes/intel-oneapi-toolkit-release-notes-2024.html., but Release notes for oneAPI Base Toolkit v2024.2.1 is nowhere to be found online.

I am assuming oneAPI Base Toolkit v2024.2.1 came with MKL v2024.2.1. Consequently, there should be a oneAPI Base Toolkit v2024.2.2 that comes with MKL v2024.2.2. If so, where can I download it from? The oneAPI Base Toolkit downloads page (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/tools/oneapi/base-toolkit-download.html) only lists v2024.2.1 and v2025.0.0.

Strangely, the download page above list the release date for oneAPI Base Toolkit v2024.2.1 as August 05, 2024. On the other hand, the release notes page for oneAPI Base Toolkit v2024.2.0 states that it was updated on October 11, 2024, making v2024.2.0 a newer release than v2024.2.1.

Long story short, my question is where can I download the latest v2024.* versions of oneAPI Base and HPC Toolkits that include MKL v2024.2.2.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Berk,

The fix to the oneMKL Pardiso issue you mentioned is included in the upcoming oneMKL 2025.0.1 patch release rather than the 2024.2.2 release.
