    <description>Hello&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;I am new to this forum and so my apologies in advance if these questions have been raised before.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I recall that the earlier versions of the MKL library required the Intel compiler.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Questions:&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;1) Can the Intel MKL library be used with the GNU C/C++ compiler?&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;2) Will it also work on a virtual machine (vmware) if an Intel chip is supporting the virtual machine?&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Thanks in advance for any info.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;best wishes&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Tony&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
