You would likely want the patch which adds (nearly) full pthreads support to RHL9, at least if you are interested in the built-in threading of MKL. &lt;BR /&gt;If you don't want the additional features or recent CPU support in current MKL, MKL 9.0 may be good enough. You might take the position that it isn't worth while upgrading to a currently supported combination of compiler and MKL, without also upgrading to a supported version of linux. However, you can't expect a recommendation here to use no longer supported software.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Yes, tim18 is right, version 9.0 is longer available/supported.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The latest versions of MKL are 10.2 Update2.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;One question just for clarifying the problem:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Probably you mean Red Hat* Fedora* 9 but not Red Hat Linux9?&lt;/P&gt;
