Thank you for posting in the Intel® communities.

Actually, you can use the Intel® RST Application to setup the module, so there is no need to un-install it because you can also use this application for the module.

If you prefer, on the other hand, to use the Intel® Optane™ Application, you will indeed require to un-install the Intel® RST Application first. In this case, you can proceed to un-install it without worries about your data in your drives.
