Hallo aus Wien,

ich versuche seit Tagen, meine Samsung SSD 970 als Optane Speicher mit meiner primären SSD zu verbinden, bekomme aber im Intel Optane Memory and Storage Management immer die Mitteilung, dass sich keine gültigen Festplattenpaare im System befinden.

Im BIOS habe ich -so denke ich -alles korrekt eingestellt, beide Platten werden auch unter Windows 10 erkannt.

Habe den mit SSU erstellten Systembericht in den Anhang gestellt

Do you have an Intel M10 Optane Memory module or an Intel H10 Optane SSD installed in your system? Implementing a cache to accelerate the performance of another device is only available if you have actual Optane Memory installed. As is also stated, with the exception of the SSD portion of an Intel H10 Optane SSD or certain other Intel NVMe SSD products, you can only use an Optane Memory module to accelerate the performance of a SATA-based HDD or SSD. Bottom line, you cannot use a Samsung SSD 970 as Optane Storage in any way, shape or form. This capability, which was available as part of the old Intel Smart Response Technology (SRT), was removed when support for Intel Optane Memory was added.
