&lt;P&gt;As a CNC programmer, I'm looking for any way to speed up calculations and toolpath simulation.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If any of you have experience in this sector and especially with Optane memory in CNC programming, please post your reply.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for for this detailed answer&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;JosafathB.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This is a problem for many of us who works with big parts and tight tolerances. Especially on simulations where many surfaces need to be generated in order to represent real work. Although this is not really memory hungry work, I managing 100 GB of my RAM to be used.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As for pinning, I'm out of luck. We just bought&amp;nbsp; i9 12gen to pair with DDR5, since 64 core Threadripper shows no improvements over Xeon W-2145 processor.&amp;nbsp; Graphic card is Nvidia A6000.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Since progress in this field is hugely driven by speed, we will continue to look for improvements.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
