Hi,

I have a problem with my cpu multiplier. My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-P35C-S3 and i have Q6600 2.4GHz proccessor on it. When i entered my bios settings i reliezed that my cpu's multiplier is set to x6. It must be x9 to work at 2.4GHz with 266MHz BUS speed so i changed it but when i reset my computer it backs to x6 value again. What is the reason ? My bios saves the other settings greatly but cpu multiplier setting is returning to x6 value after every reset even i changed it. Please help me.

Thats the Intel Speed step working , it's normal . If you realy want you can disable it in the BIOS. But I would not recomend it .
