I have installed a new fan and replaced the thermal paste .. still overheating !! ..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have just ran an IDPT check and it FAILED "Base Clock Test" .. "detected base clock 999999999 ..... also FAILED .. "CPU Frequency Test" ...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My question is .. can I fix the problems or do I have to fit a new CPU .....
