Can Win XP 32-bit run with Xeon 64 bit?

Hi,

I need to know if Xeon can be used with Win XP 32-bit Home Edition. I don't know either all Xeon series support 32-bit arquitecture or just the 3000 sequence and 6500 series.

By "Flexibility for 64-bit and 32-bit applications and operating systems" I understand it can be used with 32-bit softwares with not problem

Hello,

Yes, if the CPU supports Intel (R) 64, then it will work with 32 bit and 64 bit software and OS.

The main thing that you may need to check is if there are any drivers for the motherboard for Win xp 32 bit.

Of course, i am assuming that the board and cpu are compatible and are on the compatibility from the board's manufacturer site.
