need help (witch intel processor for multimonitoring)

Hello everyone!

my question is: which Intel processor to choose to display several different images on multiple monitors? I need the best solution for the transportation center, and it is important to be compatible with Matrox graphics card (two Matrox QID Pro) and to support them in full without any slowing down, breaking the link, etc.. Please note that this is the GPS navigation which is constantly monitored on 8 different monitors and it mustn't come to a link goes down. it is necessary to ensure that the processor withstand all efforts 24 / 7 without losing a part of the picture.

I hope someone can help me in the choice and it would be great to explain why that pocesor.

Matrox cards that has to be supported is Matrox QID Pro - link is http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/graphics_cards/qid_series/qidpro/

If someone believes that a better solution is some other combination with Matrox card is free to suggest.

p.s. once again, 2 matrox cards is in PC.

Any modern CPU shouldn't have any problems with the graphics cards.

I think given the Matrox Card is PCI-X then you'd be looking at a dual processor Xeon system.
