<title>topic chipset/processor compatibility in Mobile and Desktop Processors</title>
    <link>https://community.intel.com/t5/Mobile-and-Desktop-Processors/chipset-processor-compatibility/m-p/368013#M13838</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;I have a DG41TY intel motherboard. I went to intels site and they confirmed that the Q9450 was compatable so I bought a used one on ebay and when I installed it my computer I couldn't even get into bios. the motherboard started beeping like a smoke alarm. I put my old E5300 in it and everything booted up just fine. I shipped it back to the seller who confirms it is good but will send me another after testing it. Does anyone know of a step I'm missing here?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
