Hi neosputnik ,

i7 7700 should be able to encode/decode 4k 10 bits hevc, and also to output :

on HDMI with max. resolution up to 4K x 2K (4096x2160) @ 24Hz / (3840x2160) @ 30Hz

on DisplayPort 1.2 with max. resolution up to 4K x 2K (4096x2304) @ 60Hz

on Intel Thunderbolt 3 with max. resolution up to 4K x 2K (4096x2304) @ 60Hz

It depends of what outputs has the mainboard that is mounted on.
