      <title>Lenovo Y510p with i7 4700Mq processor PROBLEM!</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have problem with my &lt;B&gt;i7 4700MQ&lt;/B&gt;.I bought half year ago Lenovo Y510p with this processor and when i look on task manager or on CPU-Z, it says that the processor has &lt;B&gt;2 cores and 4 threads&lt;/B&gt;. It would be a software problem or HW? And the second problem is, that Turbo Boost is not working.Noteboock&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you help me?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Notebook spec:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Lenovo Y510p&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Intel i7 4700MQ&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;16 GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Mainboard Lenovo 20217&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;BIOS Lenovo 74CN35WW&lt;P&gt;Windows 8 64bit&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I attach images of CPU-Z with running CPU stress test.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PS: Sorry for bad english&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am sorry to hear that have had issues with processor model i7 4700MQ.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have checked the picture attached and indeed shows 2 cores and 4 threads.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At this stage, please check for any BIOS settings that may have disabled CPU cores or try updating BIOS of the computer here:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page"&gt;http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page&lt;/A&gt;? &lt;A href="http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page"&gt;http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page&lt;/A&gt;?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;By updating computer BIOS you may get Turbo boost running on the computer.
