Two sockets - different microarchitecture Xeon E5-2600 + E5-2600v2

Dear Intel,

I have a two sockets motherboard with chipset C602. Currently I am running only 1xCPU Intel Xeon E5-2609. Could I add Intel Xeon E5-2609v2 in the second socket? Or do I need to replace also the first one to run 2x E5-2609v2.

In order to get a server working with a dual CPU configuration, it is required to use the exact same model of processor with the same stepping.
