Good afternoon. Dear support, please, tell me, how can I view the serial numbers of Intel Processors. Our company bought 40 computers with Intel Processors (Pentium Dual Core 5300) inside, but I cannot view the serial numbers (I tried Intel PIU, ASTRA32 Infotool), and it's very hard to dissamble computers to see serials on cpu directly (very hard to take off TITAN Cooler, because it mounted to a plan near the system board and I must to dissamble the whole computer just for a viewing only a processor serial number). Please, tell me, how can I get the serial numbers of CPU under Windows XP?

i doubt that there would be any software within intel or even third party that can read serial numbers.

the only way is by visual inspection as described in http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-030330.htm http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-030330.htm

Sorry for a mistake in the discussion name: it's just CPU seRial number.

So, I see that there is no serial number on a new Intel CPU or I'm wrong? Have the Intel CPU a serial numbers or not? Sorry my BAD english. I need answer from official Intel specialist if it's possible. Thanks for the answers.

Even Intel Processor Identification Utility cannot tell me a serial number of Intel CPU. What utility must I use in order to get the serial number of Intel CPU?

you must take out the titan cooler in order to see the processor serial number

the processor serial number is located on the metal part of the wordings

the last paragraft of the processor wordings
