Hi,

I am designing a board with Intel Atom C2000 family processor. In the power management section,i need clarification in the processor states. In EDS document,it is mentioned that in 'S0 state' -CPU is working, all other individual devices are powered off to conserve power.

But in PDG guide it ismentioned that in same S0 state, all devices in mother board remain powered. Kindly clarify which one to follow with, either PDG or EDS document?

Thanks for coming back to the processor community.

I am currently researching on this issue. As soon as I can, I will send you a message with my findings. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Allan.

S0 is the working state so all devices are working, but they may power down to conserve power if they are not currently needed.

We will take a look into the documents to see if they need editing.
