Title says it all, I have checked everything else to conclude that CPU doesn't BSOD upon loading windows with only one core working. I have tried different CPU and it worked like a charm, so it's neither else of my components. My CPU is delidded, so it doesn't have any warranty anymore, but delidding didn't cause this ( I delidded more than a year ago and ). I didn't use any crazy volts for my OC ( 1.45v ). My components:

CPU
 i5-4670k

Motherboard
 Asus Maximus VI Gene

RAM
 1x8Gb Crucial ballistix tactical tracer

GPU
 Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming

Case
 Zalman Z3

Storage
 Kingston v300 60Gb WD Red 1Tb

PSU
 In win commander III 600w

Display(s)
 Benq GL2460

Cooling
 corsair H60

@EstebanC_Intel , Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool passed the test, but I was using only one core since PC gets BSOD on boot with more than one core. I have tried reseting BIOS settings to default.

I can't test with a different motherboard since everybody that I know doesn't have an LGA 1150 motherboard, our local computer shop doesn't have LGA 1150 motherboards either. I already tested with another power supply. My bios version is 1603, but I've tried using different versions too. If my CPU wasn't defective, then the other CPU I tested wouldn't opereate as it should, but it did operate normal.

My RAM is 1x8Gb Crucial ballistix tactical tracer 1600Mhz CL8@1.5v . I'm running bios defaults except for one core enabled in bios ( otherwise there is BSOD on start up ) , I won't be able to test another CPU on my motherboard since my friend sold his, but before he sold it we used it in my computer and it worked flawlessly, we even overclocked it without problems. My PC has windows 10 Pro 64bit ( I'm using it since September ), but before I had windows 7 ultimate 64bit. I've already troubleshoot that CPU is cause of this, but If only one core is then computer can boot to windows ( I have checked all cables and slots,I also gave my PC to computer specialists and they also said that something is wrong with CPU. When I showed them the thing about one core enabled, then they said that they haven't seen anything like this. ).

Hello, arniks8:

Many causes could be the one that started this issue, overclocking the processor would reduce its lifespan, it could be degraded, regarding performance, it could damage different cores (this could be your issue) or even die.

If this CPU was tested in another Motherboard, most likely the CPU was damaged by the OC.

Right now, my recommendation would be to get another CPU for your system, since as per its performance and behavior it is damaged.

If you encounter with any new or additional inquiries, do not hesitate to contact the Intel® Communities again.

Regards,

Esteban C
