The P8400 is socket compatible with bga478 and pga478:

If your laptop is bga478, the answer is no, as the processor is soldered to the motherboard.

If your laptop is pga478, the answer is maybe. While socket compatible, you have to check with Samsung to see if THEIR bios supports the p8400.
