Compatibility of E3-1225V2 and a C206 Mainboard

Hi there,

Is the "Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1225V2" with the "Intel® Server Board S1200KP" or the "Intel® Server Board S1200BTS" compatible?

I would like to buy an E3-1225V2 (with ivy bridge) and I also would like to have a mainboard with sata3 support. So I don't see any mainboards with the "newer" Chipset C206. On the compatibility page of the E3-1225V2 there are only 2 mainboards with C202?

This specific Processor is compatible with the Intel® Server Boards S1200BTSR and S1200BTLR. Unfortunately it is not compatible with the Intel® Server Board S1200KP nor the Intel® S1200BTS.

For the Intel® Server Board S1200KP, you can use the Sandy Bridge Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1225.
