I'm sure the answer is obvious, (to someone who knows) but can someone tell me which of these two processors will run faster, and why: i3-380M & i5-2410M.

Here is a comparison of i3-370M and i5-2410M (look in the "performance" tag):

Core i3-380M is to 5% faster than the 2410M, so the difference will be slightly smaller, although it will still loose to 2410M in all benchmarks.
