NUMA nodes on a Haswell EP E5 V3 with cluster-on-die

Hi,

How many NUMA nodes are on a Haswell EP E5 V3 with cluster-on-die QPI snoop mode disabled? I'm fairly sure it's one, but just want to confirm as there is quite a lot of misinformation on the Internet about this.

My question is in relation to the E5-2600 v3 medium and high core count family of processor's, which all have the cluster-on-die feature.

Let's say any of the following: E5-2690 v3, E5-2695 v3, E5-2697 v3.

My questions was how many NUMA nodes are on a Haswell EP E5 V3 with cluster-on-die QPI snoop mode disabled?

What information in the link were you refering to? There is nothing there about NUMA nodes and/or cluster-on-die (COD)?

My question should be very simple for someone at Intel to answer.

I am going to double check your request with my supervisor. I will try to give you an answer as soon as possible.

The information available is the following:

CoD is only available on processors with 10 or more cores.

LLC misses are handled by the HA (Home Agent, not SA or System Agent) on the cluster that generated the miss.

Data is placed on the LLC slices on the ring requiring the core fetching them.

Thanks Mike. I already know all that. I've done extensive research on these processors and have read almost all the documents and PowerPoint presentations I could find.
