Are these different product/model codes for i7 7700K legit?

Hey there Intel community!

I have a dillema

Soon I'll be buying a new processor to build my new workstation pc, and for that I've chosen the Inel I7 7700K processor,

I've searched for some different retailers, computer stores, and I've found 2 different i7 7700K processors, ofcourse different in their model/product codes

as we know, the most common code for the i7 7700k processor is > BX80677I77700KSR33A < this code, but I have found another 7700K processor with a HALO WARS 2 bundle with the same price with this code: > HD80677I77700K <. <p>

I have ordered the 2nd one, with the game bundle, but I'm afraid I wont get the same product or an unoriginal.

Am I wrong?

Thank you for contacting the Intel community.

The BX80677I77700KSR33A is a box unit and you will get three years warranty for this product, the HD80677I77700K does not come up in our records, what is the website where you purchased the product?

To verify the warranty and to check if it is legit could you please post a picture of the back of the processor or provide us with the batch number and serial number located on the box that came with it.

Please let me know that information to better assist you.

I will my get hands on this one in monday in the store and I'll check the box and reply in this post.

Also could this be a typo?

HD abd BX are really close together on the keyboard, and maybe all these stores that get these processors have the same distributor and they just copied the typod box units?

Also, I live in slovenia and all these stores are in slovenia.

Thanks for the information Archimedon, in this case for us to check if this is a valid product I will need the batch number and the serial number located on the box and a picture of the back of the processor to check those markings as well.

Once you post that information I can further investigate.
