Is there any way/ utility to check Intel (7th Gen) processor warranty (duration) just by using processor serial number.?

I know that. I can check warranty using FPO and ATPO but I don't wish to remove heat sink mounted on processor.

ATPO - is part of serial number but there is no way to check FPO without removing heat sink. Any suggestions?

Hello Begginer123,

Thank you for joining the Processor community.

From our end we have an Online Service Center utility; however, you need the FPO and ATPO. If you have box handy you can get these two pieces of information and use the https://supporttickets.intel.com/warrantyinfo?lang=en-US https://supporttickets.intel.com/warrantyinfo?lang=en-US which should retrieve the warranty information. Just for you to know, the ATPO is the same as the serial number.

Regards,

Amy C.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

I don't have box handy with me, so only serial number is useless number, is that right?

Or if I contact Intel service centre (local, not online ) and ask them to check warranty status for particular serial number (without FPO), will they be able to help?

Best regards,

Rajesh

Sure, you're welcome.

Well Rajesh, yes, in order to check the warranty for the unit both numbers are needed. Even if you contact us directly these two are needed.

Regards,

Amy C.
