No, once processor is powered off, all cached data is lost and cannot be retrieved later. This goes for all processors from all manufacturers - Intel, AMD, ARM, etc.

...S

I am currently selling a used 7th Gen Processor and am curious if there are any steps that have to be taken to protect any potential data on my CPU. With the new Meltdown and Specture problems, I was worried that some data can be taken from the buyer. Does anyone know if data can be taken from a used processor? Or if there is any threat of my data being taken?
