Intel Virtualization i5-4460 not working

Hey community,

since a few days I have trouble with the Intel Virtualization of my i5-4460.

It is not available anymore and I have no possibility to activate it in BIOS because there is no option for that.

I have not changed the hardware and before it worked perfectly, so I have no idea what causes the problems.

I have installed the newest Chipset and Management Engine drivers for my mainboard and also tried different BIOS versions - without success.

I need this feature for VirtualBox, so I would really appreciate your help!

Also, on Windows 10, are you running 1803 or 1809?

I have 1803 running and there are no Windows Updates available.

Hi i54460ts: Thank you very much for providing that information.

From our side we can confirm that the processor does support virtualization both VT-x and VT-d:

In this case the next thing to do will be to get in contact directly with MSI so they can verify the BIOS settings to make sure the virtualizaion feature is enabled.
