Hello,

I have an i7-6850k processor that I've been using for about 5 months without issue. Suddenly my programs began to crash and I have problems reading/writing as well as windows kernel crashes.

I checked every component and tested them on known good systems and they worked without issue.

the only component I haven't replaced is the processor.

Ran intel diagnostics tool,

Floating point test fails every time. Restarted multiple times, even tried reinstalling OS. Have tried different drives, ram etc. Same issues with the system.

Error returned is

Floating point test failed

Math_FP fail

Return status : 1

Module Math_FP.exe Completed : Fail

result: Fail

Do I need a new processor or to return this under warranty? I purchased it in January.2018

Thanks
