Please refer to the &lt;A href="https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/processors/sb/theintelprocessordiagnostictoolinwindowsuserguider.pdf"&gt;https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/processors/sb/theintelprocessordiagnostictoolinwindowsuserguider.pdf&lt;/A&gt; Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool User Guide page 20.&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;This does not mean that your processor is defective. In order to complete the test on the IPDT go Tools &amp;gt; Stop Testing On Fail &amp;gt; Off.&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Can you please provide us the model of your processor and motherboard?&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;Antony S.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;i will get back to you on board and cpu had a catastrophic accident with that computer so now using one even older i get 600 a month on disability so both machines are dump rescues i want to cry lol won't give up hope though give me a couple days.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But also i have problem with temperature monitor. i need to disable both of them in 'tools' before run the test.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;pentium d945&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;asus p5ld2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;monitoring of the temperature works in bios and third party software developer on Windows 10, but it does not with genuine intel processor utility)))&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;also i have changed all settings in bios that required utility from help paper&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;actualy i have not much of them:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;max cpuid value - disabled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thermal monitor - enabled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;c1 control - enabled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;speed step - disabled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;microcode updation - enabled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;execute disable bit - enabled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any suggestions???&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;INTEL Core Duo E8400 using 2+ years&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Socket LGA 775&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mother Board&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;JOYOON IPM41-D3&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;RAM&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;DDR3 2+2 GB&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Specifications regarding all components are attached below in PDF format.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It doesn't start on the first attempt in the morning pressing the power key on the CPU (Except the processor fan and other things like SMPS CPU light turn on). The processor turns on after pressing the restart key a few times.
