Will Pentium E2180 series (Conroe) run windows 10?

Found a HP computer and was wondering if it will run windows 10? would like to put in a video card with hdmi and use it as a media center.

However, that does not mean it will not run Windows 10.

So, the HP system is at least 10-years old. In my opinion, this is more trouble than it is worth, and it is in the age range where you can expect failures to start.

Other than hard drive failures which I intend to replace), what other type of failures are you referring to.

Component failure - Things start breaking down around this time. Caps, thermal paste, solder connections, power supplies, silicon, etc., etc., etc.

Vee, Doc is right. This processor does not support Windows® 10, you might be able to install it but from our there are no drivers available for Legacy products and Windows® 10. In this case, I recommend sticking with the supported operating systems which based of the date that your processor was released would be the following;

Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows 7
