The first thing you may want to do is inspect the heatsink and check if it is properly attached to the board. It should not wiggle or shake. Clean and apply new thermal paste if needed.

See if the fan is running properly, do you hear any noises coming out of it? Clean the dust with compressed air.

Please provide more information about your system if further assistance is needed, such as CPU and motherboard model.

http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-029427.htm Processors — What Do I Do if My Computer is Overheating?

http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-029426.htm Processors — How Do I Know if My Computer is Overheating?

http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-030329.htm Desktop — How to Apply Thermal Interface Material (TIM)

Yesterday my computer was running, when suddenly the display went out and the system stopped with a beeping sound. After that when I tried to start the system, it gave a Processor Thermal Trip message with a beeping sound. The message asked me to press enter in case I wanted to proceed, but after repeatedly pressing enter the system didn't react. So I force shutdown the system and tried to restart the system again.

Now every time I start the system first it gives beeping sound but there is no display. The processor fan is working and the keyboard and mouse is active. But there is no display at all.

I don't know if there is issue with processor.

Please help me out.

In case you need any more information please let me know.
