I have i7-4770 but what graphics card should I use

Hey Intel support

So I have already i7-4700(not k) but my motherboard broke( lga1150)

And I bought i7-8700k with (Lga1151motherboard)

But I was thinking if I return the new Intel and use the old one only need to buy used motherboard ba

Cause there's no in market any more

But I want to run best graphics card in market and its Rtx 2080

So can old Intel run it and if not what is the recommended graphics card should I buy

Please answer me

The intel graphics are integrated in the processor. There is nothing to return.

Hi Yes_R,

Both the i7-4700 and the i7-8700K support the PCI Express 3.0, providing the same bandwidth of the PCI Express slot to your video card.

Mostly the memory (DDR3 -> DDR4) and CPU (https://ark.intel.com/compare/75122,126684 Intel® Product Specification Comparison ) will make a difference.

Ok, you want to get a new motherboard that runs your old processor, correct? And, you want this new board has to run yournew amd graphics card, correct?

First step is to find a board that has socket 1150, and whose BIOS support the i7-4770.

Then, make sure the board supports PCIe x16 3.0

So I can use the Nvidia Rtx 2080 on Old Intel i7 4770

I only need it for 1080p in next 4-6years I hope so

Al hill sorry but I think u didn't understand me ,sorry for my English am trying to say that I have old Intel i7 4th gen and trying to ask support if I can use Nvidia Rtx 2080 on my PC

650 W power supply

16g of ram

With i7 4770 prosessor

If your new board (and its bios) supports the i7-4770, and if the board supports PCIe x16 3.0,, and if your new graphics card is compatible with the new motherboard, then you will likely have no problems. There are a lot of "ifs" in here.

Hi Yes_R,

Just make sure you check all the specifications when searching for / buying a mainboard for the 4th gen i7.

Like Al Hill mentioned make sure the CPU is supported and preferably that the PCI Express slot is 3.0 (It will work on 2.0 / 1.0 but slower).
