Like what I've said in the question, what do they mean and repersent in the image below?

p.s. 0.40GHz is actually achieved via software throttling, which I don't recommend to do so (as on some platform, doing this can cause the system to freeze). It doesn't consume any less power compare to 0.79GHz and also slows your system down.

Hello Crericper,

Thank you for joining the Intel Communities.

All of our CPUs come with a specific Base Frequency and a specific TDP. The Configurable TDP options mean the computer manufacturer can modify the Base Frequency and TDP of the CPU within the specific values we have posted on the product specification page https://ark.intel.com https://ark.intel.com. Depending on the design of the chassis/cooler the computer manufacturer may increase or decrease Base Frequency and TDP.

Regards,

Fred D.

So, "Configurable" xxx is for manufacturer use, right? Which means even with the same CPU model, different laptop can have different base performance, is it right?

Hello Crericper,

Yes, Configurable TDP options can only be used by OEMs. Two computers with the exact same processor model may have different Base Frequency. I recommend contacting the computer manufacturer directly so they can let you know the exact Processor Base Frequency they configured on a specific system.

Regards,

Fred D.

Intel Customer Support Technician

Under Contract to Intel Corporation
