You need turbo boost to be enabled in order to change core ratios or overclock at all using turbo multipliers...

System:

Asus Z370-F Gaming

Intel 8700K

32GB BALLISTIX Sport

Corsair H115i

Windows 10

Temperatures are fine, CPU is delidded and runs at 50-55 C under p95 load.

If I disable Turbo Boost and Step Speed, and set my core ratio to 47 (or any other number), and save those settings, I re-enter the BIOS, and the text box still says 47, but the bar on the right says 37. In windows, it stays at 3700Mhz.

It cant be instability because the core clock isn't changing.

I've tried XMP and manual, I've disabled just about everything I can find, I even disabled Hyperthreading. I am using bios 0616, the latest as of right now. I have repeatedly reset the BIOS and cleared the CMOS to no avail.

I've also contacted ASUS support and have not received a response yet.

I can attach screenshots if someone wants them.

Help, please?
