Are the two actions related?

The previous Intel TBM 3.0 drivers error out with the software device being unable to start.

Per core clocking still works, but windows is not properly loading the threads in order

Hello jpere123,

Thank you for attaching the system report.

First, it is worth mentioning that Windows* has native support for Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0. However, please try to follow these recommendations:

Please load BIOS default settings. After that, make sure Intel® Turbo Boost is enabled in BIOS.

Note: You may need to contact the motherboard manufacturer to obtain step-by-step instructions.

In "Apps and Features", try uninstalling Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 driver.

Also, go to Device Manager > under System Devices > Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0.

Right-click on it and uninstall it as well.

After performing these steps, reboot your computer and let Windows* install the latest driver automatically.

If the issue persists, then this issue is most likely related with the Windows* 10 Insider* Preview Build running on your computer. When running a preview build, systems are prone to instability, which may cause Windows* to stop responding while running applications or performing a specific task. It may also have bugs and errors since these versions are not stable. What we can recommend is that you report these issues to Microsoft*.

Wanner G.

Intel Customer Support Technician

As an insider, you report the problems to Microsoft on any nose-ring preview. Microsoft works with the vendor, not you.

Doc
