Pc crashing when playing games, high CPU usage

My PC constantly crashes (it crashes immediately and brings me to the back to the windows profile sign in screen) when playing most games. I've noticed my CPU usage in task manager goes up way higher than it should so my first thought is something could be wrong with the processor. My processor is an Intel Core i5-7600k CPU @ 3.8GHz.

Any ideas? Thanks

What operating system? Windows 10? If so, what version? 1903?

What is your device model number? What manufacturer?

Windows 10 enterprise 64 bit version 1809. This is a PC my friend and I built is the device model number the device ID in device specifications?
