Hello Marvin,

I found the following information for you:

Xeon E7 could be compared with Xeon Scalable 2nd Gen Platinum processors as they are both S8S scalability.

Price wise I was able to compare it with 8260 and 8268; however, they are different processor families.

Xeon E7 V4 series belong to Broadwell series while 2nd generation Scalable are Cascade Lake, so there is 1 generation in the middle.
