When can we expect the next X-series Intel Processor chipset to come out?

I'm starting a new PC build and believe it may be close to a new iteration of the x-series chipsets for intel processors, while I'm impressed by the x299 chipset I don't want to start a new build now if the next is sometime this year or even next. (my current system is old but still viable its an X58 motherboard with the old x990 6 core processor onboard, I'll be keeping it as a video server after the new build).
