&lt;P&gt;I have seen my old processor i7 950 dont have "avx" instuctions. I have troubles for open some new games.... is it possibility to upgrade it ?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well, you would have to ask your system/motherboard manufacturer what processors their BIOS supports.&amp;nbsp; Then, you would have to check those processors for AVX support.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There are some 2nd gen processors with AVX support, but it all depends on what processors are supported by the manufacturer's bios:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Vector_Extensions" target="_blank"&gt;https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Vector_Extensions&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Personally, I would abandon this effort and upgrade the entire system.&lt;/P&gt;
