Problemi con Intel XTU

Salve,

If there is another performance tuning application running, you must close it before trying to start this application."

E' possibile quindi far tornare a funzionare XTU?

Grazie in anticipo a chiunque risponderà

As you discovered, XTU does not support your processor. And, on the XTU download page, it clearly says "Intel XTU may or may not work on unsupported processors."

And, undervolting is not the answer, as that is a security risk:

https://securityboulevard.com/2019/12/plundervolt-a-new-intel-processor-undervolting-vulnerability/

At this point, Intel has blocked undervolting to avoid such risk.

With XTU and throttlestop, the state of your hardware and software settings are unknown. You should do two things. Reset your OS, which will probably not do what you need. Only a clean install will. And, second, contact HP for support with their hardware and cooling solution.
