Using Lenovo vantage to update a T470s gives the following error:

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

I was checking your post and I understand that you have some concerns regarding the Intel Management Engine firmware for your Lenovo* laptop.

As you know the ntel® Management Engine is a layer within the mothreboard BIOS that allows interactions between the operating system and the BIOS itself.

Any motherboard manufacturer and Original Equipment Manufactuer (OEM) branded computers containing Intel chipsets might include the Intel® Management Engine. Therefore, I would strongly recommend contacting your computer manufacturer for further assistance on this matter.

Hopefully, they will be able to answer all your concerns.
