I have a Dell Precision T-7920 Workstation 80gb ram, with one Intel Xeon Silver 4110, 2.10ghz, 8 core, L1 512, L2 8meg, L3 11meg.

Motherboard can accept two CPU's but only have one now.

Can I mix two different CPU's?

Can I add another Intel Xeon processor such as the Intel Xeon Silver 4112 ES, 2.2ghz 4 core?

Or the Intel Xeon Silver 4114 ES, 1.8ghz 10 core?

If yes which one is best and will it help or hinder overall use of the computer?

The reason to add is to be able to add additional drives.

Thank you and Happy Holidays

Same sockets does not mean anything. Usually, dual cpu boards require the processors to be the same, but that is just my view. Does not the dell documentation on their board provide you configuration information?

Also, I believe dell has paid support.
