Hello,

Customer is wanting to buy CD8069504212701S RFBA (MM# 999CM2). But they want to identify serial #s on them without opening the package. Does this item (or any tray Embedded CPUs I suppose) has serial # on the label that is on the outer box? Or it has to be checked on the actual CPU marking via FPO# and ATPO#?

The FPO and ATOP can be found on bout the unit and the box nevertheless the makings on the box apply to the Intel® Box Processor; this guide Where Can I Find Intel® Boxed Processor Numbers for Warranty? In case of the Intel® Xeon® Silver 4215 Processor (https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/193389/intel-xeon-silver-4215-processor-11m-cache-2-50-ghz.html) tray unit we recommend finding the FPO and ATOP on the unit itself; the following guide How to Identify My Intel® Xeon® Processor Markings for Warranty Requests (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005965/processors/intel-xeon-processors.html) can be useful to find them.
