    <description>&lt;P&gt;That is correct.&amp;nbsp; You cannot upgrade your processor (from 2008), or find a processor for that socket, that will be on the Windows 11 supported list.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You need to have an 8th gen processor or later to be on windows 11.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I have an&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;E8500 Socket 775 3.166GHz 6MB Cache 1333MHz FSB Wolfdale Core (G33)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When I check for updating to Windows 11 I'm told this is not compatible.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is this correct? I'll be surprised if this is true.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
