I understand you are having issues with your Intel® Core™ i5-10300H Processor.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In order to better assist you, please provide the following:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;B&gt;1.&lt;/B&gt; Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer: &lt;A href="https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information.       <title>i5-10300H cpu clock is always at max speed</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is it normal that my CPU is always almost at maximum frequency (4.2ghz) even when I have no programs open in the background or I only use the notebook for surfing? i already have the power saver on balanced and windows 10 as well. This shouldn't happen because it's like it's set to high performance mode.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I've already installed the&amp;nbsp;latest Intel DHC graphics drivers.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Bios is up to date.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;What can I do to solve the problem ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;(pls see the screenshot)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
