How to boost the performance of a Intel Intel R 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset

Good day.

I am wondering if anyone can give me help or information on what to do?

My desktop is old and outdated. My specs are as follows

Intel Intel R 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset

intel core i5 660 processor 3.33 ghz

12,0 GB (11,9) GB usable ram - Not gaming ram

Windows 10 Pro 64bit

GPU GALAX GeForce GTX 980 HOF

I am struggling to get performance out of this old machine. Is there anything I can do to get better performance? What settings can I change in bios or windows to improve performance?

If there is nothing that can be done. Thank you for taking the time to read this and answering my questions

Your processor is 12-years old, and not supported by Windows 10.

Time for you to get a new or newer system. I suggest you look at something with an 8th gen or greater processor.
