I am learning Source Kernel of Linux. And in cpufreq framework, I was confused about performance frequency and P state which are to adjust cpu's frequency.

And I found performance and P state are related to frequency。

So what is different about them?

My laptop is ThinkBook 14G2 ITL

CPU : 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1155G7 @ 2.50GHz

But the question about them is from Linux Source Code, especially intel_pstate.c.
