topic Voltage Protection in Mobile and Desktop Processors

I want going to test undervolting my 13600KF and do some benchmark before applying them to BIOS but the Intel XTU keeps on saying my voltage protection is turned on even when its clearly turned off. I went and turn ON Undervolt protection and then turned it back OFF just to be doubly sure and even reinstalled your Utility but its saying the same thing. You CPU is too hot even with a proper cooler, you ought to at least give your customers a way to fix this without having to pull our hairs out trying to think of something to fix your issues.

Hello, @don3.

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

I am sorry to hear what is happening with the Intel® XTU, I will gladly assist you here.

What is the Intel® XTU version (7.10.0.65 for example)?

Did you turn the Undervoltage protection in BIOS? Is this option always greyed out in the Intel XTU?

We know about a similar issue, could this be your case?

Best regards,

Jocelyn M.
