Brand new I9-13900K shows up as I5-13600K in BIOS, Windows, etc...

Title pretty much says it all, sadly i cannot get pictures of software ATM because the my AIO failed. I assure you that the box says I9 and the actual chip says I9 as well. I bought it off Amazon.

Have you updated your bios?

Have you verified that your bios supports the i9-13900K?

running latest BIOS, and it is supported according to PCPartPicker. Maybe I'll do some more digging and see

PCpartpicker could be wrong. Verify with the motherboard/system manufacturer that their bios supports it. It is not enough to be socket compatible. It must also be bios and chipset compatible.

And, if verified, send the processor back to amazon.

I've looked it up, and other people with the same motherboard seem to be running the combo perfectly fine
