why my intel core i7 4790 gets too hot

hello recently got an i7 4790 for almost 150dollars if u compare with us budget in my corrency. used a software Intel processor diagnostic tool there was a problem in test it reaches to 100c during the stress test but the test passes i've tested it for a few minutes only and the test just passed do you think it is faulty or it will cause serious problems to my camputer ? i also tried some games like residnet evil 2 and witcher 3 wild hunt with gta 5, cpu temps was around 85 to 90c i'm using the stock cooler, i wanna know is there a way to lower the tempratures or i have to return the cpu from the place that i bought it?

Do you know if your motherboard bios supports the i7-4790?

yes the motherboard model is asus H81-mc series it does support i7 4790k and i7 4790t as well and the socket is 1150, I just don't know why the CPU temperature rises so high, it's not logical do you suggest me to buy a better cooler or is there any way to stop those abnormal tempratures making me worry could it cause any damage to the board if i use pc for long period of time? as i said those temps reaches 80 to 85c during gaming or heavy usage tasks

That was not the question I asked. Yes, chipset and socket support are great, but does the motherboard BIOS support that processor?

Check with ASUS for their CPU compatibility. Make sure the bios is updated if necessary.

As far as cooling:

Is the thermal paste properly applied?

Is the case ventilation adequate?

Is the CPU cooler clean and sized properly?

Are the case fans working?

yeah motherboard bios support the processor it is also up to date, applied z5 deep cool thermail paste an expert did applied it for me it has been less than a month since the ventilation was done for case. cpu fan is clean it's an stock cooler i mean normal cpu fan it is not an air cooling or stronger than that i used the fan for a long time probably 9y. don't have any case fan it's just one for air outlet

Are you sure the outlet fan is blowing out? I would add an inlet fan if it were me.

Other than that, that is about all that can be done here. Intel will tell you that the processor is not supported and move you to the discontinued forum.

yes as i mentiond it supports it because the socket 1150 is compatible and i checked the motherboard bios again, but it does not have overclocking capability for more powerful cpu's like k series and it supports 16gbs of memory. and yeah the air outlet fan is blowing air out but fan is not very strong, is a simple fan that is placed between the case, i will be appreciate if u just give me a feedback just some help tell me what is best to do to keep the temperature down? i have no idea and i'm not an expert what to do probably i will return cpu to place where i bought it
